On 8 September 2026 the HUMANBIZ team was in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, interviewing candidates for the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme. We had a great time meeting a motivated, talented group of applicants, and we are delighted to confirm that 10 candidates have been selected and offered places in our next cohort.

The successful candidates completed their pre-departure candidate briefing the same day. The briefing covered who HUMANBIZ is, what happens next (offer of employment, visa and travel), their roles as meat processing workers at our partner WAMMCO in Katanning, Western Australia, and what life in Katanning looks like — accommodation, transport, pay and the support available to them.

The new cohort is expected to arrive in Australia in November 2026. Congratulations to everyone selected, and welcome to the HUMANBIZ family.

Employers and community organisations interested in the PALM scheme, or in partnering with HUMANBIZ, are welcome to get in touch through our Contact Us page.
